Mahjong Ornament Set of 3: Bam Crak Dot Tiles, Clear Acrylic Christmas Tree Decor
The tree already has the kids' handprints and a lift ticket from a trip nobody remembers. This is the one her mahjong group will actually stop and look at.
Three tiles, painted in a loose hand lettered brush style and printed on clear acrylic that is cut to the exact outline of the tile. A One Bam with its green and cherry bird on a bamboo stalk, a Five Crak with 'CRAK' under red and cobalt brushwork, and a Six Dot with six concentric rings in blue, green and red, each centered in gold. Five colors run through all three: hot pink, kelly green, cobalt, cherry red and gold. Preppy, hand painted, a little grandmillennial, and nothing like the mass produced white discs.
WHY MAHJONG PLAYERS LOVE IT
• The shape is the whole point. Each one is cut to the tile outline, not a round disc with a tile printed on it.
• Three different tiles, so a group can split a set or one player can hang all three together.
• The clear acrylic edge picks up the tree lights instead of going flat and matte the way ceramic does.
• Under forty dollars for all three, which reads as a real gift without being a big one.
DETAILS
• Clear cast acrylic, cut to the tile silhouette, roughly 3 inches at the widest point and about an eighth of an inch thick
• One sided print, applied to the reverse and viewed through the clear acrylic, so the face stays glossy
• BPA free and FDA compliant acrylic
• Red satin ribbon threaded through a small clear tab at the top
• Sold as a set of all three, or individually as 1 Bam, 5 Crak, or 6 Dot
• Lightweight, so it hangs from a thin branch without pulling it down
CARE
• Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Any faint marks out of the package are leftover adhesive from production, not scratches, and wipe straight off. Skip household cleaners and alcohol, which haze acrylic. Store hanging or flat, not stacked under weight.
