Gingerbread Blanket: Custom Woven Throw, Personalized Family Name, Pink Christmas Cotton Tapestry
For the family that builds a gingerbread house every December and leaves it on the counter well into January.
A cotton throw woven with a whole gingerbread street, and your family name on the big cream sign above the word 'BAKERY'. The picture is woven into the blanket in colored yarns, not printed on top, so it has the soft, slightly nubby look of a tapestry. The center bakery is iced with peppermints and gumdrops, with a candy shop on one side and a toy shop on the other, lollipop lamp posts out front and snow falling on a soft pink sky. Whimsical, folk art, nostalgic, pastel Christmas, sweet rather than glittery.
WHY FAMILIES LOVE IT
• The name is part of the picture, woven in bold capitals, so the bakery on the blanket is theirs.
• It is a real woven cotton throw with fringe, the kind that lives on the sofa all winter.
• It comes out with the decorations every December, which makes it a keepsake and not just a blanket.
• Blush pink, gingerbread brown, cream and teal suit a pink Christmas tree or a kitchen full of cookies.
DETAILS
• Woven throw blanket, 100% cotton, 50 x 60 inches. Size can vary by up to 2.5 inches because it is woven.
• Fringed on all four sides: black and white on the two short ends, multicolor along the long sides.
• The design is woven in, so the back shows the same picture in reverse colors.
• Your family name, up to 10 letters, in capitals on the sign. 'BAKERY' stays the same on every blanket.
• Woven colors are limited to the yarn palette and are softer than a printed image. Fine details look stitched, not sharp.
CARE
• Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Tumble dry low. Non-chlorine bleach only if needed.
