This is a country club mat. Small hand-drawn scenes in the toile style, a woman mid-serve, a golf cart under a striped canopy, two friends at the pickleball net, four women at a mahjong table under a scalloped umbrella, scattered on ivory with a boxwood and bow garland and a petal pink border. Navy line with just a touch of green, coral, butter yellow and hydrangea blue. Preppy if you like that word, grandmillennial if you like this one. It reads as decor first and a game mat second, which is the point. WALL LEFT and PLAY RIGHT are printed in the border at every seat, so the Charleston never needs explaining.

WHY SHE LOVES IT
• Her three favorite things at the club, on one table, without a single logo on it.
• Soft printed top holds the tiles and the non-slip rubber backing grips the table, so nothing slides when someone pushes a wall.
• Rolls up and stores in the black drawstring bag it ships with.
• Under 65 dollars in the two sizes most groups buy, and the table looks dressed when the tiles come out.
